Every piece is stitched with water repellent thread. Wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat. Over time the leather develops a soft patina.

Measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, and allow room for two fingers under the straps.

Shipping & Returns

Orders placed before 5 pm ship the same working day, orders with an engraved dog tag the next working day. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 working days. Shipping is complimentary from €50. Below that, it is €7.50 worldwide. Import duties or other local charges may apply, depending on your country.

Let us know within 14 days of receiving your order and send it back within 4 weeks. We email you a return label. The return costs of €10 are deducted from your refund. Prefer a different size or colour? Exchanges follow the same steps, without the return costs.

Made by hand in Portugal

Every Laelaps set is cut, stitched and finished by hand in our Portuguese atelier. We work with one leather and a few honest materials, and we take our time with each piece.
Leather

Premium embossed calf leather in two tones: a main colour and an accent colour. Soft to the touch and strong enough for every walk.

Craft

Water repellent stitching and stainless steel hardware with a matte PVD finish, chosen to last for years.

Finish

Every edge is sealed by hand with gum arabic, the detail that sets fine leather goods apart.

What is the difference between the sets? Plus

Essential pairs the harness with a matching leash. Signature adds a waste bag holder and a complimentary engraved dog tag. Maison adds a treat bag as well.
Which size should I choose? Plus

Where does the dog tag go on a harness? Plus

On the D ring of the harness. It arrives already attached, so your harness is ready to wear straight away.

Ordered before 5 pm, your set ships the same working day. With an engraved dog tag, as in the Signature and Maison sets, it ships the next working day. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 working days.
Can I return a set? Plus

Yes. Let us know within 14 days of receiving your order and send it back within 4 weeks. As the dog tag is engraved especially for your dog, we cannot take it back: you keep the tag and its value of €14.95 is deducted from your refund, together with the return costs of €10.
Can I mix colours in a set? Plus

Every set is made in one colour. Prefer to mix? Every piece is also available on its own, so you can pair your harness with accessories in the colour of its lining.
