Made by hand in Portugal

Every Laelaps collar is cut, stitched and finished by hand in our Portuguese atelier. We work with one leather and a few honest materials, and we take our time with each of them.
Leather

Premium embossed calf leather in two tones: one colour outside, a second one inside. Soft on the neck and strong enough for every walk.

Craft

Water repellent stitching and stainless steel hardware with a matte PVD finish, chosen to last for years.

Finish

Every edge is sealed by hand with gum arabic, the detail that sets fine leather goods apart.

Good to know

Which size does my dog need? Plus

Our size calculator on every collar suggests the right size, based on your dog's breed and weight. Prefer to measure? Measure around the neck and allow room for two fingers.
Collar or harness? Plus

A collar is the natural choice for dogs that walk well on the leash. For dogs with a coat that tangles easily, such as poodles and doodles, we always recommend a collar: it touches the coat in fewer places, so there is less friction and fewer tangles. For dogs that tend to pull, a harness is the better choice.
When will my order arrive? Plus

Orders placed before 5 pm ship the same working day, orders with an engraved dog tag the next working day. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 working days.
Can I exchange or return my order? Plus

Let us know within 14 days of receiving your order and send it back within 4 weeks. We email you a return label. The return costs of €10 are deducted from your refund. Prefer a different size or colour? Exchanges follow the same steps, without the return costs.
Is every order gift wrapped? Plus

Yes. Every order arrives in our navy gift box, tied with a golden ribbon.
